iPhone Ringtone Maker – Creativity for All

Posted: 06 Feb 2012 08:09 AM PST

I am all over the page when it comes to my ringtones, its either something super boring that the phone was set on when I got it, or something really weird that I pay to download, and everytime the phone rings everyone around me looks over disapprovingly. In any case I can think of dozens of ringtones that I’d like to have… but they don’t exist.

Luckily we have the  iPhone Ringtone Manager, users can customize their iPhone ringtones at will. For instance, users can trim any segment from video, audio or DVD sources, and adjust ringtone volume and add fade-in or fade-out for even more professional effects. This software contains a built-in player, which can help users pre-listen to their desired iPhone ringtone effect. With this professional tool, users can even extract existing ringtones from the iPhone and have the ability to rename the ringtones right at their fingertips.

The Ringtone Maker for iPhone also enables you to export iPhone ringtones to your computer and iTunes, and transfer iPhone ringtones to other iPhone devices directly. It is fully compatible with all iPhone devices, including iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S, and supports the new iOS 5.

So now we have no excuse not to have unique and creative ringtones, ones that fully express our personalities and passions, so the next time you’re at the store and hear someones phone playing the theme song from Leave it to Beaver, well, let’s just say you’ll know its me.

The iPhone Ringtone Maker is fully compatible with all iPhone devices, like iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. And it supports the new iOS 5. It is available from  www.anymp4.com  for only 15 dollars.

MicroOLED offers super high resolution display

Posted: 06 Feb 2012 05:30 AM PST

Rewind the clock by 10 years, and back by a decade, did you envision a future (today) where phones sported touchscreen displays, and are of resolutions which put your old school monitors to shame? And this newfangled genre of consumer electronics devices known as tablets, those too, are dotting the landscape with a flurry of popularity that was previously unknown. The resolution count on monitors, TVs, and phones have increased steadily, and there does not seem to be any signs of stopping anytime soon. MicroOLED has a spanking new bright and detailed low power OLED panel which will cater for the digital camera market, where it is heralded to be the end all and be all of digital camera displays – signaling the death knell of the optical viewfinder in such devices.

Electronic viewfinders (EVF) at this moment enable photographers (professionals or otherwise) to access a wide range of important information such as exposure or white balance whenever one frames a shot, and to check out how different settings would affect a particular image on the fly, the optical viewfinder is still a mainstay regardless of how expensive a particular camera is. Some of the reasons put forward include a lack of dynamic range, noticeable lag as the digital image is processed, as well as battery life concerns.

MicroOLED tops the game at the moment in terms of resolution count with their latest entry which is said to deliver the highest pixel density OLED microdisplay that is available on the market today. This is a new 0.61″ (diagonal) OLED panel which packs in a whopping 5.4 million pixel density, in addition to a sub-pixel pitch of 4.7 by 4.7 micrometers. It will come in both 16 million color SXGA (1280 x 1024 pixels) and monochrome (2560 by 2048 pixels) formats, and is also touted to have done away with any spacing between pixels and benefit from 96% uniformity.

Each high resolution image that is reproduced on the display will boast of a 100,000:1 contrast ratio, allowing your eyes to detect subtle tones in a scene which are missing in other EVFs and, even more importantly, the battery life issue is also addressed, where MicroOLED’s display can run on as little as 0.2W of juice.

Triton 3303/3 submarine commissioned

Posted: 06 Feb 2012 04:00 AM PST

Being wealthy certainly opens up many doors when it comes to doing something. For example, if you are extremely rich, then going for a holiday offers an abundance of choices as your money can fly you anywhere, letting you stay in the best hotels and sup on the most delectable dishes without worrying about whether you are able to make next month’s mortgage. Well, having said that, the same principle also applies when it comes to your mode of transportation – you have stretch limos, sports cars, private jets, helicopters, yachts, and a new and emerging (pun not intended) category – submarines.

Most yachts these days also come with a submarine attached to them – and it is certainly growing in terms of popularity. It seems that an anonymous billionaire has decided to pick up one of these puppies as his personal underwater ride, choosing the Triton 3300/3 in the end. The name of the submarine does give the game away somewhat in terms of its performance ability, and also denotes that this is the third of its kind to enter production.

What does the Triton 3300/3 submarine offer on paper? Apart from its ability to ferry 3 passengers underwater, it also boasts what some deem to be the largest acrylic transparent dome where the pilot cabinet is concerned. This offers a fantastic 360-degree view of the aquatic life on the outside, and you need not fret about ending up in a watery grave as the transparent dome is strong enough to withstand high pressure. Previous experiments did show that diving to 3,000 feet is not an issue for this yellow submarine, and the entire body shape with its vertical orientation has been uniquely crafted to make sure it can drop to such depths rapidly, while re-emerging at a similar pace as and when required.

No idea on how much something like this will cost, but it is definitely expensive to say the least, and those of us who are wage earners can only dream about it, while the uber rich can always settle for different modes of transport.
