Anyone that has every looked at an uninstalled bath tub has seen the insane amount of unused space. Underneath of those tubs is just air and the same along those walls of the tub in most cases. Well one company decided to actually use that space for something constructive. Instead of leaving them as open air, there are hidden compartments on this Stowaway Bathtub.

I really hope that the compartments are heavily sealed off to prevent water from spilling in when you have a little kid that gets a little overexcited with their game of battleship. The compartments can hold all sorts of toiletries or extra supplies for your bathroom. It’d be great for a bathroom that is a little short on size. These GW International creations are supposed to start hitting stores right on the first of September. I imagine they won’t be cheap, but they would be pretty handy.

Cable Robot Cable Organizer

Buying things to organize your cables has to be the most boring shopping trip out there. You’re just stuck staring at such bland options and most of the time it’s stuff that’s not going to be seen anyway. However, if you have some cords you need kept together, but will be visible you might want to pick up this cute little robot. It’ll keep your wires under control, but won’t be quite as boring as your other options.

The robot is more a half of a robot than a full robot. He’s there from the waist up and uses his arms to keep your cables under control. Those long arms can bend and wrap around a pretty thick chunk of cords. It’s obviously just a simple robot made of rubber with nothing but a little wire running through the inside allowing for you to bend him in all different directions. To pick one up it’ll only cost you $3.95 through the Neatoshop.

I must confess, if I were single, had no kids, and wanted to travel the nation and blog, then this would be my vehicle of choice.

This is the Bufalino, and it is based on the Piaggio APE 50 three-wheeled vehicle. Designer Cornelius Comanns apparently went out of his way to put all sorts of drawers and even a place to sleep. There is even a terrific place to sit with your laptop. It does look a little cramped, though.

Still, any sort of mobile home where all I would need is a regular-sized parking place would be pretty great. All I would need is now is a non-pay toilet and some free Wi-Fi, and I’ve got a brand new life.

Of course, I do like having the life that I do now, and I think I am too old to do that whole Jack Kerouac On The Road thing. However, when I was in my twenties, blogging (as we know it) didn’t exist. I know that shows my age with that particular comment.

For all those who would be interested in driving or living in one of these, I don’t have any information about how to attain one of these vehicles as yet.

Fuse Soup Can Lights

Since you cook in the kitchen, you might as well have food themed decorations. These cans will light your kitchen all the while looking just a little vintage. I don’t know what it is about a Campbell’s soup can, but it does have a vintage feel to it. Plus, these are recycled, so you’ll have prevented a few cans from making their way to the city dump.

Truthfully, I absolutely do not see why you couldn’t whip this one up on your own. After all, you can buy simple pendant lights without a cover and just screw a hole in the top of the can big enough to fit the light. Then on the bottom make sure you keep it open for the light. That does mean that you’d have to remember to open a few cans from the bottom for this one, but that isn’t that big of a deal. If you’re just not feeling adventurous enough to pull this off you can purchase one for $115 or 3 for $285.

Snazzy Napper is here!

Some of you might remember when we covered the Blue Travel Set a while ago. It is essentially a Snuggie with pockets in it for gadgets.

I found this particular Snuggie derivative that has been making a subtle splash on the Internet since last week.

This is the Snazzy Napper, and I have included an ad after the jump so you can see how to “Snazzy Nap”. Like the aforementioned Blue Travel Set, it has pockets for your gadgets.

As you can see, it fits over your head and partially covers your face, in order to block out sunlight that would otherwise disturb your rest. It also has a specially designed hole for your nose “for easy breathing”.

The basic version of the Snazzy Napper just covers your head and part of your chest, and it looks like it has this cute sheep design. In all honesty, I would have left it blank, but it costs about $14.99. I believe it is the $24.99 version that comes with a blanket and has the “Z-Z-Z” pattern on it.

Okay, now I would like a word from our readers. Would you actually wear a Snazzy Napper in public? I might be willing to wear one on an airplane, but only if I was sitting by a window seat. There, you could get a little bit of privacy. As for sitting on a bus or train with this thing on, then you might as well put a design on it that looks like a target.

T-Shirt shop has life-sized Lego Car

I have made a lot of Lego cars in my day, but this is the first Lego car that one could drive.

Some guy decided that he wanted to drive one of his Lego cars, so he went and built one using gigantic Lego bricks.

This is one of those times where I wish my Source had a lot more information about this than it does. We do know that the car is based on the original style Mini. See the sign of “Artwork” scrawled on the side? This is the name of a T-shirt shop in Manila, The Philippines, which apparently owns this Lego car.

The first thing I would ask is if the car could be changed around with big enough bricks. I can see some parts like the windshield wipers, headlights, bumper, and license plate which are genuine auto parts, but is the rest interchangeable Lego pieces? I would have found some fire-engine red pieces and made myself a Chevy Camaro or something. With a little bit of restructuring, this could be the next step in modular cars.

Of course, if I had to chose, I would probably choose a car made up of hundreds of thousands of pieces. Of course, can you make an engine made of Lego for something like that?
