Posted: 04 Apr 2012 06:30 AM PDT I can tell you first hand that it is definitely no fun suffering from a sinus problem, especially during those mornings where you need to get up and about, while your runny nose gets in the way. Well, there has been many attempts at making sure your sinus problem is healed once and for all, and if you have exhausted all avenues and possibilities, perhaps giving the $99.95 Sinus Relief System a go might be worth the effort. This particular device is said to decongest sinus cavities in a painless manner, helping improve your breathing and mitigate sinus discomfort without the need for medication. It was specially developed by an ear, nose, and throat specialist, and the entire system relies on the very same principles as jala neti, which is actually a millennia-old Indian yogic tradition where a neti pot is used to pour a saline solution via one’s nasal passages, helping remove mucus build-up caused by allergies, colds, the flu, or sinusitis. Has anyone else given it a go, and how do you find it? Introducing Foolish Gadgets because not all gadgets are cool [ Sinus Relief System copyright by Coolest Gadgets ] Related Posts: |

Footbooteo offers fun in a different way Posted: 04 Apr 2012 06:00 AM PDT They say that all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, and with the £39.99 Footbooteo, you are able to get your fair share of fun with your family and friends, while nicking in a little bit of exercise at the same time to boot. This particular classic game of flick-and-kick looks set to be on the verge of making quite a comeback, but since your fingers are all grown up, perhaps having an upscaled version in a life sized manner might just do the trick. Footbooteo will help you roll back the years as you just need to strap your feet into the giant ABS discs, and let your friends do all the pushing as the ‘team’ dribbles the ball up the field and attempt to score a goal. This is a contact sport, so you can be sure that it is not meant to be for the faint of heart. Just how many people do you need to get a Footbooteo team going? We are looking at 4 outfield players, a goalie and a substitute for each team. All 50cm diameter discs will come coated in Teflon for smooth gliding over just about any surface, although we would not recommend playing this on a sheet of ice for obvious reasons. Cool Gift Idea: Digital Picture Frames, check out our reviews. [ Footbooteo offers fun in a different way copyright by Coolest Gadgets ] Related Posts: |
Amazon Instant Video on PlayStation Network Posted: 04 Apr 2012 05:30 AM PDT You know, when Sony first released the PS3 a few years ago, they had in mind to have it function as more than just a regular video game console. After all, the age of broadband has seen a penetration rate of unprecedented levels, never mind in the US but in the rest of the world as well. We have even started to shun the idea of physical media carrying our games, preferring to download them directly onto the console itself. As for renting DVDs? Why bother to go all the way to the store, when you can just stream it off to your HDTV right in the comfort of your living room? Well, I also remember that one of the PS3′s unique selling points was also the ability to double up as a Blu-ray player, making it the cheapest in the market at that point in time (and even now, too). Here is even more good news for existing PS3 owners (as well as those who are thinking of buying a new console) – Amazon Instant Video has just launched on the PlayStation Network. The availability of Amazon Instant Video on the PlayStation Network means just one thing – the PS3 has the bragging rights of being the first and only video game console that offers such a service. All you need to do is head on over to the TV/Video Services category of the XMB, download and install the new Amazon Instant Video app for free, and you are good to go. After installation, do the necessary honors by launching the app, and you are able to gain instant access to thousands of streaming and downloadable movies and TV shows, where they are good for rental or purchase, depending on what you are up to at that point in time. It is safe to say that you will be spoilt for choice, since there are over 120,000 commercial-free movies and TV shows available for you to pick from, ranging from new releases to classic favorites, major TV shows, full seasons and entirely new episodes of some of your favorite TV shows right the day after they air. LG Viper 4G LTE arrives at Sprint Posted: 04 Apr 2012 05:00 AM PDT Everyone is talking about going green these days, and it makes perfect sense, too. After all, we have but a single earth here, so if we are not going to take affirmative action to go green ourselves, who else is? Sprint, one of the big four mobile carriers in the US, will be offering the LG Viper 4G LTE smartphone later this month, where it will retail for a mere $99.99 with a spanking new two-year service agreement and after a $50 mail-in rebate. Current and existing customers who are interested will be able to place a pre-order for the LG Viper from next Thursday onwards. I do wonder, however, as to why this puppy has been named after a venomous snake. After all, isn’t it supposed to portray a green image that we can all identify with? A poisonous serpent is not going to do much, but when you brush the naming convention aside, all we are left with would be the nitty gritty, the essential parts. Basically, the LG Viper will run on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, and accompanied by 1GB RAM, boasting mobile hotspot capabilities and a microSD memory card slot which is capable of holding away yet another 32GB of data. At the back lies a 5-megapixel camera with flash, while in front you would be greeted by a VGA camera that paves the way for a fun and easy face-to-face video chat experience. One other advantage of the LG Viper would be the inclusion of Near Field Communication (NFC), where you are able to access true value features including Google Wallet, an app that paves the way for payment using a mobile device at participating retailers, where among them include Bloomingdales, Toys "R" Us, CVS, Gap and Macy's. The 4″ touchscreen display is said to offer remarkably bright and clear sight even in direct sunlight. A Corning Gorilla Glass screen protector ensures it has added strength and resistance just in case you happen to be a little bit rough with it. As for the eco-friendly features of the LG Viper, they include ULE Platinum Certification, a casing made of 50% recycled plastics, is RoHS compliant, and a packaging that holds up to 87% of post-consumer paper, with printing done by soy ink.
