The inTouch is a 3 Megapixel camera that is designed for video chats, and a lot more. Unlike the Biscotti, which allows for communicating with GTalk members and other Biscotti users, the InTouch uses Skype, a very popular video chatting application. The inTouch also comes with a remote control that has a QWERTY keyboard plus a numerical one. This is also an improvement over a Biscotti, as the remote only allows for arrow keys and makes it very difficult in setting up or entering in contact information. This keyboard will enable you for web browsing. Yes, the InTouch allows you to surf the web as well as send or receive emails. In one press of a button, you can have access to news, weather, horoscopes, and even more. You can also upload, archive, and view photos with family and friends. By the way, do you want to watch some YouTube vids? It’s there too. The Samsung InTouch is one product that I would love to have in my living room. I’ve already compared it to the Biscotti, but something tells me that soon every consumer electronics company is going to come out with something like this. The Rukus is the first portable Bluetooth sound system with a solar panel to wirelessly stream music from a compatible device. As you can see, it is made to be portable, and the speakers are pretty admirable, and they produce some pretty kickin’ noise. What really sells the Rukus is its 40 square-inch solar panel that can harvest the sun’s energy, and it takes about six hours of direct sunlight for a full recharge. The Press release says that it “never runs out of power”, but that might be too much of a boast. It is very energy efficient, and can be charged via AC adapter. By the way, the Rukus has an integrated USB port so it can charge other devices. Although you can’t see it very well in the photo, the Rukus has an E Ink SURF segmented display, which can display information without draining the onboard battery. The display can also be read in direct sunlight and at a 180-degree viewing angle. The Rukus will be available someone in Q2 for about $149.95. The flying quadricopter has a new camera, software, as well as a new look. What you see in the picture is its “outdoor hull” which is designed to reduce wind resistance. It still has the old mod with secondary hull to protect the blades. The camera for the AR.Drone 2.0 is in 1280 x 720 resolution, to show a view from the sky. A piloting application known as AR.FreeFlight 2.0 allows the user to record their own HD videos, to watch or share with other AR.Drone users. Another development is “Absolute Flight” which allows the AR.Drone 2.0 to connect to a device via Wi-Fi, and all on-board instruments will appear on screen with a cockpit view. The AR.Drone 2.0 will also have some light-emitting diodes positioned on the landing gear that will help the pilot track the orientation of the AR.Drone 2.0 in flight. The AR.Drone 2.0 also has some new stabilizers so it will stay in flight, and Parrot is working to provide developers with a new software development kit. The Nokia Lumia 900 will let you (theoretically) enjoy data downloads up to 50Mbps on AT&T's 4G LTE network, but I am not quite sure just how real world performance would be like, especially when there are many people riding the same network with you. Should you happen to live in areas where there is no 4G LTE coverage, then the step down would be HSPA, which is pretty much speedy by itself as well. Specifications include a 4.3-inch AMOLED ClearBlack display at 800 x 480 pixels, a 1.4GHz processor underneath the hood supported by 512MB RAM, 16GB of internal memory that can be further augmented by a microUSB memory card slot, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, A-GPS, USB 2.0, and SkyDrive cloud storage. Imagine all of that crammed into a body that weighs just 160 grams. As for the 8-megapixel camera with a Carl Zeiss lens and a dual LED flash that delivers a larger, f2.2/28mm aperture, you can be sure that your low light shots the next time you go out clubbing would be something worth looking at. Just make sure those drunken expressions do not actually get shared with the public, otherwise your future job applications might actually end up in jeopardy. Some of you might remember when we covered the 
Eton has produced a lot of solar-powered, energy efficient gadgets over the years, and so I had to stop by at CES to see what they had for 2012. I found that they were raising quite a ruckus with their Rukus. 
We have been following the status of Parrot’s AR.Drone since it was first revealed at CES two years ago. At CES this year, Parrot has officially introduced the AR.Drone 2.0. 
CES this year will see Samsung, LG, Panasonic and Sony battle it out where 55″ TVs are concerned, and while Samsung and LG have taken the OLED route, Sony decided to travel differently with their “Crystal LED Display” that is still in the prototype phase. This Full HD 55″ model is a self-emitting display that relies on Sony's unique methods to mount ultrafine LEDs in each of the Red-Green-Blue (RGB) colors, which is equal in value to the number of pixels. We are talking about approximately six-million LEDs for Full HD here, and with the RGB LED light source being mounted directly on the front of the display, this move will dramatically improve the light use efficiency. 
Verizon Wireless has a surprise for those who are on the lookout for a tablet – the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 that will play nice with Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE network, ensuring you will be able to enjoy speedy connections no matter where you are, assuming there is coverage, of course, while positively making you surfing on a 3G connection feel as though you have been transported back to the Stone Age.
