Motion Activated Toilet Nightlight

Posted: 23 Jun 2010 03:00 PM PDT

Despite the fact that this is smart, admittedly, it’s weird.  If they had attached a normal colored light it’d probably be slightly less odd, but as it is, it makes the toilet shine red or green.  Now those color choices aren’t just there for decoration though, they do actually have a purpose that could keep you from having any light night issues.

When the toilet seat is up and it senses the presence of someone, the light will kick on red.  When the toilet seat is down and someone comes near, the light shines green.  If you tend to have toilet seat wars, this could make the household a little more livable late at night.  After you walk away from the toilet, the light will kick off.  You can purchase the Lav Nav Motion Toilet Nightlight for $19.95.

Retro Cassette Cover for iPhone

Posted: 23 Jun 2010 02:00 PM PDT

If you’re feeling the need to disguise your iPhone, this cassette cover is the way to do it.  It’ll make your precious iPhone look like nothing more than an old worn out tape.  Plus the case allows for you to more easily sit and watch videos.  Between the two perks it’s enough to make this case turn a few heads.

Sure an observant thief won’t be deterred by the camouflage, but it couldn’t hurt.  Plus we all know you secretly miss the days of mixed tapes, don’t lie.  Strangely despite the very plastic look, the cover itself is silicon.  Now the cassette tape case is a hard plastic, that case can be propped open to double as a stand for your iPhone.  The down side of this product is that you have to order a minimum of 6 of them.  It appears you’ll have to contact them to find out just how much those 6 cases will cost you.

Key Cap Puller saves keys

Posted: 23 Jun 2010 12:50 PM PDT

This just goes to show there is a tool for absolutely everything.  No matter how small the task, somewhere out there is a tool meant for that job and that job alone.  Now granted there’s probably less chance of breaking keys if you’re using something like this as opposed to using a butter knife, but do you really pick apart keyboards enough to justify it?

This probably would make life easier for anyone that takes care of more than one keyboard or anyone that just has the tendency to manage to break the strangest things.  This Key Cap Puller takes and pulls each of the corners with equal force, so you won’t have any damage.  It will fit most key caps and might motivate you to clean underneath the keys more often.  You can purchase one for $6.19 through CyberGuys.
