Pocket Classics lets you be the talk of toytown

Posted: 15 May 2011 05:30 AM PDT

All grown up physically, but deep down inside, you think that you are still a child? That would be interesting if you have the money to throw around via lavish parties and expensive toys, but for the most of us who are part of the working class, the only thing we can do would be to dream on and perhaps work our way to wealth. For those who fall in the former category, there is the Pocket Classics that might just pique your interest – considering they retail for £9,995 each, you had better have deep pockets!

These are true blue half-scale replicas of some of the most desirable rides in history, and will zip you about at a top speed of 46mph – never mind that they don’t look as though they are up to the task. Available in the Jaguar E-Type, Mercedes Benz 300 SL and Speedster, you will be spoilt for choice. Why not get all three of them at the same time? Just make sure there is enough space in your garage…

Genius Ring Mouse hits North American shores

Posted: 15 May 2011 05:00 AM PDT

Genius of Taiwan has been working quietly in the background for years now, as their range of computer peripherals have been functional at best without really breaking any new ground. Perhaps it is time for the company to step out of the shadows, and they might have stumbled upon a winner with the Genius Ring Mouse that picked up an iF award along the way. Now available to folks living in North America, the Ring Mouse is an innovative input device that delivers flexibility in an unprecedented manner, letting you wear it on your finger as a ring.

Your thumb will control all of the functions, letting this device deliver the wireless freedom you so crave for during presentations, web browsing, picture and video viewing among others – after all, it will fit snugly and comfortably on your fingers without missing a beat. To know more about how the Genius Mouse Ring works, you will need to read on in the extended post.

The Genius Ring Mouse will rely on patented touch-control technology for scrolling, where it is capable of achieving a movement sensitivity up to 1000 dpi. Using anti-interference 2.4Ghz wireless frequency, the Ring Mouse has a working range of up to 10 meters if there aren’t any obstacles or obstructions around, and the super small Pico USB receiver (you can tell by its name) will occupy a USB port on your desktop or notebook without requiring you to remove it.

Inside the Ring Mouse would be a highly efficient, rechargeable lithium battery that powers it, and you can juice it up using a portable USB battery charger in addition to the hard-shell carrying case keeping it company for travel protection.

Each $69.99 purchase will come with ioMedia software that provides multimedia application control like play/pause and fast forward/rewind. ioMedia functions are compatible with applications such as Internet Explorer, Windows Media Player, Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, and Adobe Reader.
