Floating DryCase keeps things dry

Posted: 27 Jun 2010 05:37 PM PDT

If you need to keep your phone safe around water you might give the DryCase a try.  It’ll give you full use of your phone, all the while keeping it completely safe.  Of course you’ll have limited use if you happen to own a flip phone of some kind, but at least you could still use Bluetooth if you so chose.  Plus for those of you that have a camera on your phone, it’ll let you still take pictures thanks to the clear case.

These cases aren’t just waterproof, they all are left underwater overnight to make sure the seal is in great order before they’re sent off to the purchaser.  The case has a buoyant armband that will keep the case from just dropping to the bottom of the ocean.  It also has a stereo and microphone jack.  You can purchase the vacuum sealed case for $39.99.

Solar Camera Strap

Posted: 27 Jun 2010 04:45 PM PDT

If you like to take a whole lot of outdoor pictures until your battery dies and your neck ends up beat red, then this is the camera strap for you.  It actually uses all that power the sun usually is using just to give you a nasty sunburn and charges your camera with it.  The whole strap has a large flexible solar panel on it that’s just waiting to soak up a little sun.

This design was created by Weng Jie.  It could be used for those times when you need power for big events and don’t happen to have a spare battery handy.  You could even just lay it out in a window when you’re not taking pictures to charge it up other times.  Sadly, right now this is just a concept design, so it can’t be purchased just yet.

Camera Bag Disguised As Purse

Posted: 27 Jun 2010 04:36 PM PDT

When it comes to carrying around a DSLR camera, it typically means that you’re going to need a serious bag.  The sad thing is that not a whole lot of those bags are all that exciting.  The best is usually a bookbag and that isn’t exactly fashionable.  If you’re female and want something that looks good, this camera bag just looks like your average oversized purse.  That also means that it won’t be quite so obvious that you’re carrying around an expensive camera.

The Nevis Camera Bag has all of the usual soft compartments that you’d see in a DSLR bag.  It has room for your camera, an extra short lens, a longer lens and even a flash.  There is also a small strip of room that will fit your wallet and even a couple of medium sized notebooks.  All around it definitely makes sure that it uses that space well.  The lining is water-resistant and the outside is full-grain pebbled cowhide leather.  It has 4 exterior and 3 interior pockets.  The soft closed-cell foam padding is completely customizable.  You can purchase one in either black or brown for $329 through ONA.

Monster Vision Max 3D wireless 3D eyewear

Posted: 27 Jun 2010 05:30 AM PDT

Monster is a name associated with advanced audio/video accessories, and they aim to take a long ride on the 3D bandwagon with a new exciting category of lifestyle-enhancing consumer electronics products including the Monster Vision "Max 3D". This will be the first and only universal wireless 3D eyewear "shutter system" in the world according to Monster, where it will play nice with ALL brands of 3D HDTVs (now that is a delicious thought), letting users experience a new level of power and 3-dimensional visual immersion regardless of whether they are munching on some popcorn while watching their favorite Blu-ray movies or having a whale of a time playing advanced video games in the living room.

The Monster Vision Max 3D glasses will feature a stylish and lightweight high-gloss black design which enables users to wear them for hours without experiencing any fatigue, a common problem that plagues a fair number of people who have seen 3D movies in theaters to date. These new offerings are specially manufactured to fit all head sizes, and best of all is, you can even wear it over a pair of prescription glasses. The Monster Vision "Max 3D" eyeglasses and transmitter kit are scheduled for availability this coming September with a recommended retail price of $249.95 per set. If you happen to have a large family, you can always pick up additional Monster Vision Max 3D Eyeglasses for $169.95 per pair.

What makes the Monster Vision Max 3D different from the rest? Well, it makes full use of leading-edge RF technology that is based on Bit Cauldron's HeartBeat technology. This results in an advancement which ensures reliable communication with the RF transmitter, letting you benefit from the best and purest transmission of 3D content between the source and the eyeglasses while doing away with the common sync issues found in most IR based shutter glasses. Since it is able to play nice with any 3D-ready television set regardless of manufacturer, you can be sure that peripherals like this will further drive the sales of 3D HDTVs up by at least a notch as home theater enthusiasts look forward to new experiences in their living rooms.

England No. 1 Footie Fan

Posted: 27 Jun 2010 05:00 AM PDT

With England ready to face up to Germany in a short while at the World Cup, you can be sure that many Englishmen out there will claim that they are England’s No. 1 footie fan – unfortunately, their position is threatened by the real McCoy, the England No. 1 Footie Fan. This version might be pint-sized, but his merry chanting and dancing will definitely have you in stitches. Needless to say, he is wearing an England shirt and fabric jeans, where pressing his button will see him wave his scarf back and forth while shouting out one of a variety of chants. Best of all is, he won’t be arrested for acting like a hooligan just in case the German tanks steamroll over the Three Lions, for we will look towards the 5-1 victory engineered by Sven some time back as a source of inspiration. If you’re a true blue Three Lions fan, then forking out £19.99 for this puppy shouldn’t be asking for too much, eh?
