1) A medical guide for life saving surgery: A British surgeon successfully amputated the arm of a mortally wounded teenager in Congo, Africa, with help from instructions sent to him by text message. The teenager had only a few days to live after his arms were ripped off and gangrene began to set in. Seeking expert advice, David Nott texted his surgical colleague, Meirion Thomas. Thomas replied almost instantly, with ten steps Nott should follow to safely complete the surgery. Amazingly, the surgery was a complete success and the teenager made a full recovery. 2) Mobile breathalyzer: Had one too many? Now, iPhone users who take drinking responsibly can check their blood alcohol content with the Ibreath. Capable of measuring between 0.000 to 0.100%, the attachable gadget gives you the power to prevent an arrest or an accident before getting behind the wheel. Compatible with iPhones and iPods, the gadget also surprisingly, and rather irrelevantly, doubles as an FM transmitter, which can transmit your personal music wirelessly to your car radio. 3) Bulletproof vest: While out mowing the lawn, Ronald Richard, of New Orleans, was hit by a stray .45 calibre bullet square in the chest. Incredibly, Mr. Richards was completely uninjured when the bullet hit his mobile phone which was quite fortunately clipped to his overalls, just over his heart. The bullet, believed to be a stray from hunters in nearby woodlands, completely destroyed the mobile phone, but at least Mr. Richards was able to finish mowing the lawn. 4) Shooting a love story: An award-winning film maker used a Nokia N8 mobile phone to film and produce a first-person love story. The short film depicts an interesting first person perspective of one lover from France, and one from New York who seem worlds apart making their way overseas to close the gap and reunite. The film, lasting just two minutes and 25 seconds, was dubbed winner of the Nokia Short Competition 2011 and the 9th most creative internet film of 2011 by TIME Magazine. 5) A shocking weapon: Surely, everyone remembers Naomi Campbell launching her mobile phone at a maid? Well now, a self-defense company have taken mobile phone weaponry one step further, with the launch of a mobile phone stun-gun. Not actually able to make calls, the stun gun looks exactly like an everyday mobile phone, until a button is pressed and the gadget releases up to a whopping 3.6 million volt shock to any would be attacker. The Talk Back Mimicking Tomcat, as its name suggests, is full well capable of repeating anything said to it in a cartoonish voice. This is definitely able to elicit laughter during one of those more tense moments in life, and it gained its inspiration from a popular smartphone app. A single press of its paw will allow him to record just about anything and everything he hears, mimicking the speaker in a high-pitched voice. There are touch sensors which are located in his foot, while his belly is able to yield grunts, whines, and purrs when pressed, similar to the app, except that this is in real life. When the original Razer Blade was revealed to the world in August last year, it basically blew expectations on what a gaming laptop should look and perform like. Well, this new model is set to break new ground as well, pushing performance limits without compromising on its ultra-thin form factor. Folks who are interested and have enough faith in Razer's R&D team would be able to drop $2,499 for a pre-order of the machine, where shipping to folks living in North America will commence on September 30th. In order to make sure the new Razer Blade will run nice and cool, it ditched the predecessor's thermal system, went back to the drawing board and re-engineered what you see from custom-crafted parts with larger vents and specially designed heat pipes so that additional airflow will be able to make its way to the unit's extreme components. Touted to carry one of the most innovative thermal solutions in the industry, we are talking about plenty of power crammed into an ultra-thin form factor that measures all of just 0.88" thin, now how about that? We are talking about more than 50% the thickness of traditional gaming laptops of comparable performance. The entire shebang tips the scales at under seven pounds, including its ultra-slim power supply, also making it the lightest gaming laptop in its class. Just what the entire point of this 
When we were younger, we were told not to talk back to our elders, and this is one piece of advice that many a young 'un seem to have forgotten about these days. "Talking back" is not always a bad thing though, as young children learning how to speak will always mimic those around them, which is where this 
We have seen companies offer gaming laptops from time to time, and these tend to be huge behemoths in their own right. Well, they definitely are not to blame of course, considering the fact that you need enough physical space to be able to cram in all the necessary powerful parts and components of a gaming machine in a portable format. PAX Prime saw the rise of another next generation gaming laptop, continuing from where the original Razer Blade left off.
