Blimp iPhone Fan

For folks living in countries where there are four seasons, isn't it great to know that the heat turns up only when summer arrives? As for others who live in tropical climates, or even worse, in the desert areas, then you have only two seasons – hot, and hotter. Which is why an iPhone accessory such as the $12.99 Blimp iPhone Fan is ideal for everyone, as you are bound to run into moments when the mercury shoots up and it gets unbearably hot, and that miserly boss of yours does not want to turn up the air conditioner's speed while lowering the temperature, citing operational costs affecting the organization's bottomline.

Fret not, the Blimp iPhone Fan is here to the rescue, where it will plug into the data port of your iPhone, iPad or iPod in order to deliver a nice gust of air that blows your way. Being tiny and compact, you are able to tote it with you just about anywhere you go, even when you are not going to use it. Turning on and off the Blimp iPhone Fan is a snap, all it requires is a single push of the button, and the fan operates on its internal battery, so you need not replace the battery when it is dead, as it draws juice to recharge from your iDevice. You should be able to coax half a dozen hours of use from the Blimp iPhone Fan on a full charge.

Orbiting Rings Watch

I am a firm believer that every person should have at the very least one timepiece that they can be proud of to wear around their wrist. Of course, if you were to dive into the high end world of Rolex, Piaget and Patek, that would burn more than just a huge hole in your pocket, you could in fact be wearing a car on your wrist, with some cash to spare to boot. With the $199.95 Orbiting Rings Watch, this is one timepiece that allows you to make a serious fashion statement without ending up in serious debt.

It will also add to your intellectual look, considering how time is shown via a couple of orbiting rings. There are no hour, minute, or second hands, and neither is there a numerical dial for you to fall back on, but thankfully, learning how to tell the time with this puppy is not too difficult, and with a little bit of practice, it will end up as second nature to you. A pair of concentric rings will create an ever-changing pattern of contrasting gradient color as time progresses, and the entire timepiece features a mineral crystal face and encircled by a bezel with marks for each hour. The outer ring will display the minutes while the inner ring displays the hours, where the leading edge of each will then advance in a clockwise motion in order to indicate the passage of time. It comes enclosed by a 316L stainless steel case that offers water resistance down to 100′.

G-cluster delivers cloud gaming to the masses

Don't you miss the good old days when certain words had meanings that are so far removed from today? For instance, 'gay' meant happy and without a care in the world, and 'cloud' was a noun used to describe those fluffy white things in the sky, and if you looked closely enough, you would be able to find angels strumming their harps and lyres while humming a soothing tune. Well, fast forward to the 21st century, 'cloud' has taken on an entirely different meaning, where it is now widely accepted in the computing world as a platform where your data and even processing can be done remotely, as everything is connected via the Internet to the cloud. It is an ideal way to work with your files stored on the cloud, and you need not worry about folks stealing some crucial files when you are on the move. Since we are on the topic of cloud services, how about moving from something serious like work to a more casual activity like gaming?

G-cluster is currently inviting IPTV and wireless operators and game publishers to jump aboard the cloud bandwagon, especially at CES 2013 that is happening in Las Vegas early next year. Basically, G-cluster is best described to be a fully-featured white label service that offers the largest deployments at scale, sporting the most deployed catalog of casual and AAA games, and they fully intend to debut their Game Machine platform so that operators are able to deliver premium and casual games to the TV, all done without having to own a gaming console in your living room in the first place.without the need for a gaming console.

You will still need the G-cluster Game Machine as an intermediary, however, where it will plug into the HDMI port on HDMI-equipped televisions while connecting to the home Wi-Fi network in order for one to access the service. You can then use a game pad with a wireless receiver, or smartphones or tablets, in order to dictate the gameplay on the TV, where you can choose to fly solo or with friends, where they will rely on other devices such as PCs, smartphones, or tablets.

BLU Products announces VIVO 4.65 HD smartphone

When it comes to naming your product, hitting the nail on the head can be quite tricky. You will need something that is short and sweet, and yet gets the message across so that ordinary folks would know what you are referring to without having to pause and think. Giving smartphones names could be quite a fun affair, where you have Samsung with their Galaxy range, HTC with different kinds of "feelings" involved (Desire, Sensation, et al), Sony with their trademark Xperia line, the list goes on. How about BLU Products? We also haven't heard of them, but this could by the very reason why they decided to go for the jugular by calling their latest smartphone as the VIVO 4.65 HD. You know for sure this puppy will come with a 4.65" display, and it will be the better version of the VIVO 4.3 that rolled out earlier this year.

Needless to say, whenever a new model hits the market, one can expect marked improvements, and for the VIVO 4.65 HD, you will be able to find a more generously sized display at 4.65″ compared to 4.3″ from the previous model, in addition to a better display resolution thanks to its HD Super AMOLED screen, not to mention having a bump in the RAM department to touch the 1GB mark.

The VIVO 4.65 HD's overall design will continue from where its predecessor left off, that is, you will not be able to find any physical hardware buttons on the front so that your eyes are met with a seamless elegant design, and the VIVO 4.65 HD will comfortably occupy the mid-range smartphone market thanks to its dual-core MediaTek MT6577 1.2 GHz Cortex A9 processor, accompanied by 3G/HSPA connectivity, powered by the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, while carrying an 8-megapixel autofocus camera at the back that does HD video recording and playback.

Oh, there is also dual SIM capability that lets you live with two lines simultaneously, so that both SIMs remain active, and you can switch from one line to the other seamlessly without having to disable one of them. Expect the unlocked VIVO 4.65 HD to retail for $300 a pop when it arrives on US shores in January next year.
