iShower Bluetooth-enabled Shower Speaker

Posted: 07 Jan 2012 04:30 AM PST

Love singing in the shower, never mind that the neighbors absolutely loathe your vocal range? Here is the iShower Bluetooth-enabled Shower Speaker that will debut at CES 2012, where it is compatible with Bluetooth-enabled devices within a 200 feet radius, so that means you can leave your iPad, iPhone, iPod or Android device right outside the bathroom without missing a beat. Brought to you by the very same people who manufactured the iGrill Bluetooth cooking thermometer. This water resistant, Bluetooth-enabled speaker will be able to play music straight from all Apple devices (including iPhones and iPods) and Android devices.

The iShower is mounted in your shower, and you can also opt to bring it outdoors with you to the beach or pool for up to 15 hours, although there is no word on what real life performance is like. The iShower is capable of remembering up to 5 Bluetooth pairings· Key features include play/pause/forward/rewind & volume functions, running on a trio of AA batteries, showing off the current time, and doubles up as an optional anti-fog shower mirror. Expect to fork out $99.99 for the iShower.

Motion Activated Candy Dispenser

Posted: 07 Jan 2012 04:00 AM PST

Who does not like candy at all? I am quite sure that dentists secretly love candy deep down inside, simply because their clientele would be far fewer in number if kids do not have easy and unrestricted access to candy these days. Well, unwrapping sweets and chocolates is something that we do often, but there is always a strange fascination with a candy dispenser as automated movement is always interesting to look at (and figure out, for budding engineers). A hand-dispensing feature might be the old school method of doing so, but it certainly is far less hygienic compared to the $39.99 Motion Activated Candy Dispenser.

Being the perfect device for kitchen counters, reception desks and common break rooms, there is a built-in sensor to ensure no grubby or dirty hands will contaminate the stash inside. Purchase a few and you can opt to dispense a range of candies. Too bad it comes in only one color – black, and there is a spill tray to catch the ones which you miss. Just make sure there are enough AA batteries (a quartet is required to run it) available as backup just in case it runs out of juice.
