Posted: 09 May 2010 01:34 PM PDT If you’re a coffee addict, then you’ve gone through your fair shar of disposable coffee cups. Now instead of trashing them constantly and contributing to the local dump’s size, you can use those cups to add a little bit of lighting in your home. Then after the project is finished you’ll have a very modern looking disco ball. To get one you’ll just have to follow the Instructables tutorial and make your own. They suggest using the plain cheap coffee cups that you see most often in order to construct the light. You’ll actually need a grand total of 300 of the cups. Technically the creator caved and just bought the cups, but recycling would work just as well. You”ll also need a stapler, electric wire with socket, energy efficient lamp, pinbolds, big washer, small washer, a heatsource and a sharp metal pen. All together none of that should cost you a whole lot of money. Oasis Solar Stainless Steel Lantern Posted: 09 May 2010 01:15 PM PDT When you’re out camping it just kills the mood entirely to refill your gadgets with new batteries. It’s way better if you can manage to go without changing batteries or plugging things in. This solar lantern will allow for you to keep your light source juiced and working all night long. Of course it looks like something you’d find at space camp instead of a camp in the middle of the woods, but at least you’ll be battery-free. The lantern has a high and low emergency flashing mode, high/low solar rechargeable automatic panel opening and an LED light. It also has an emergency function, plus it’s made out of stainless steel and ABS construction. In order to reach a full charge it’ll take 12-24 hours through the panel, or you can use the included AC adapter. When you pick this up you’ll also get a small umbrella thrown in. To get the set it’ll cost you $99.99 through Amazon. The Fame Monster Lady Gaga USB Drive Posted: 09 May 2010 12:23 PM PDT Buying a CD is one thing that’s not done a whole lot anymore. You either buy something through iTunes or you find other ways to "acquire" the songs you want. Well if you’re a serious Lady Gaga fan, now you can pick up a flash drive packed full of songs already. Plus it has a few other things to keep fans of her music very happy. It has all of the songs off of The Fame Monster, then several different remixes of other songs. You’ll also get music videos, a digital booklet, single covers, a photo gallery and website links. The drive appears to be made in the image of Lady Gaga. You can purchase one of these for $49 and have a USB drive to use time and time again. Although they don’t exactly state the size of the drive.
