I don’t know if it is safe to say that, but the Q2 does have some great things going for it. The Q2 has some really high quality speakers that were precision tuned and tested in a professional sound studio with other advanced equalization technology thrown in. It also has state-of-the-art noise elimination and intelligent adaptive controls, for loud sound without the distortion in the background. In other words, your voice will be heard no matter what goes on in the background. It also has some great voice recognition commands that I can really speak for. I used the “Favorites” selection, and I was able to get movie times by just saying the name of the film I wanted to watch. I even had the showtimes texted to me. Other specs include the 5 hours of talk time and the 100 hours of standby time. You can find out more about the BlueAnt Q2 at its official site. There is even an official BlueAnt Android Application available that will read your text messages aloud. I found the lowest price for the BlueAnt Q2 is $62.00 on Amazon. The Hundreds X Hex Wallet is essentially the same concept, but a lot fancier. The Hex Wallet is a pocket sized phone holder with a leather cover with pockets for credit cards with an elastic strap to keep it safely closed. I have to admit that this is a pretty classy cover for the iPhone 4/4S. Especially with the “Jags” pattern that looks like funky alligator skin, not to mention the Adam Bomb graphic that you have to see for yourself. It is a definite style, and if they wanted to make it really classy it could have been smooth, black, and leather. As it is, this is in bright green, sky blue, and funky red. Those aren’t the actual color descriptors, but you can hopefully understand my meaning. I’m not certain why this Hex Wallet didn’t account for a hole for a camera, or something so the user can take pictures. In other words, if you have to take a picture with your iPhone, you are going to have to yank it out of your wallet for that. CarMD is a simple device that plugs into the 16-pin Data Link Connector (DLC) that is usually found on the driver’s side of the vehicle. Once it is plugged in, running a diagnostic is as easy as turning the vehicle’s ignition on and the device does all the work. The CarMD includes lifetime software and firmware updates with free access to CarMD’s database. The handheld device can be plugged into a computer, and the software will generate a personalized Vehicle Health Reports. These reports reveal safety issues or recalls, and will be able to tell you what’s wrong with the car. It will even figure out the cost of parts and labor in your zip code. I have a car that has a Check Engine light that is always on. In the past five years that I have owned my vehicle, the car has never broken down. My auto mechanic says that simply turning off that Check Engine is expensive to fix and there is nothing to be worried about, but I am going to see about that. Also known as the dIMU (Dexter Industries Inertial Motion Unit) Inertial Motion Sensor, the creation of this device will obviously require the presence of an accelerometer as well as a gyroscope, working in tandem with the Lego Mindstorms NXT. Fully capable of measuring acceleration, tilt, and rotation on all 3 axes, this allows you to construct Lego robots that are able to balance itself on a couple of wheels, measure the rate of acceleration and have an idea on which way is up so that it will not topple over. Apart from measuring both static and dynamic acceleration, this little creation’s accelerometer also enables it to measure up to 8 g's on all three axes (between ±2g, ±4g, and ±8g). As for the gyroscope, it will measures the rate of rotation (±250, ±500, and ±2,000 degrees per second) as well. If you’re interested in picking up the dIMU, it will set you back by $65 – and I am quite sure it will offer more hours of fun than a video game, while honing the creativity of your kids at the same time. Just how narrow is it? You might want to take a seat first before getting the dimensions. This new public display panel will feature just a 5.3 mm gap (left/right: 3.4 mm, top/bottom: 1.9 mm) right between individual panels whenever they are placed alongside one another. Sounds like a dream, no? This would definitely provide advertising companies and firms who want to promote their stuff to put on display a generous 165″ multi-screen public display. At that kind of size, your eyes will catch seamless, life-like images without irritatingly fat bezel lines. I suspect that CES 2012 will have its fair share of such a setup, starting with the LG booth itself. It goes without saying that the narrow bezel would pave the way for a more visible surface area, indirectly improving the viewing effect as well as visual cohesion which proved to be a rather critical aspect where multi-screen displays are concerned. LG Display threw in their Full HD panel for this particular Public Display Panel, boasting 800 nit of brightness with it. Apart from that, the panel also delivers vibrant colors as well as sharp contrast to make sure that it is far brighter and clearer in comparison to previous setups. LG Display also knows that folks are more environmentally concerned these days, which is why they have also introduced additional energy efficient technologies into this setup which relies on Local Dimming Technology – and I must say it is impressive to hear that power consumption has been lowered to 40% that of current products without having to sacrifice on performance, now how about that for being green? Basically, the StarBath is a tiny planetarium that is capable of projecting the Milky Way and thousands of stars right up on your ceiling, letting you relax under their perceived twinkling – while you remain nice and toasty under that comfort blanket of yours. As it is battery-powered, there is no need to mess about with a power cable, although I would recommend getting rechargeable AAA batteries if you’re going to use this often. Up to 10,000 stars are displayed via its LED, where it has a projection distance of 150cm to 230 cm, while sporting a projection range of around 100cm in diameter. If you are like me, you might not know a lot about your car. If you are not the type who wants to trust in an auto mechanic, you might want to look into CarMD. 
We do know that those with a vivid imagination are able to construct some interesting stuff using nothing but Lego bricks, and there has been some pretty special creations conjured in the past. Well, humans being humans with our creativity, there are always better things to come in the future – case in point, Lego bricks being used to create a ‘Segway” of sorts. This is not something that will be able to ferry humans around, but it is still enough to keep children and curious adults alike mesmerized.
When it comes to world records, some companies do chase after them in an effort to gain recognition. I would not classify LG Display as one of them, although it does not hurt that on occasion, LG Display does include a fair number of improvements to their releases that do take the cake at the top of the world. Case in point, their latest 55″ Public Display Panel that is also said to boast of the world’s narrowest bezel.
While some of us love waking up early and greeting the day with the rising of the sun, others prefer a more subdued way of being in ‘the zone’, especially when dusk falls and the stars come out to dance all over the night sky.
