I had a chance to try it out for myself, and it lives up to its promise of mounting without tools. The bolt to install the mount can be twisted by hand, and the case snaps in place easily. The case is made to lock tight with the zipper, and I was able to interact with my iPhone’s touchscreen from there. This would have protected my iPhone from the rain with the “weather resistant housing”. Sadly, this case was too small for my Motorola Droid X, but is perfect for iPods and iPhones. It even comes with some padding to fill the gap between the device and the weather-resistant plastic screen. All in all, the All-Weather Soft Case Bike Mount is a terrific product for bikers who want to keep their GPS easily accessible on their handlebars. I will tell you from my tests that it does increase the possibility of distracted biking. You should be able to get it on the Bracketron website for about $39.95. The Smart String is like a tape measure but without the tape. In its place is 50 feet of 20 pound strength string. The string is not as wide as traditional measuring tape, which means you can get more in less bulky space. It also enables the user to measure less than straight shapes, like the circumference of a ball, for example. The digital readout means that the user is no longer looking at tick marks, and the reading is accurate to three decimal places. Once the user has his or her measurement, he or she can use it on the calculator. The built-in calculator can store 3 measurements within its memory, in case you need to do a real-life story problem. All this, plus a flashlight as well as a level bubble. Clearly, the Smart String is the way of the future for tape measure, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it is a new standard. The couple have built a house in the hills of Montana that would fit in to the Shire. I would imagine that if you entered in the address for Bilbo Baggins on Google Maps for Middle Earth, you would be led here. Granted, it does not have the circular door that J.R.R. Tolkien emphasized in both The Hobbit or The Lord of the Rings trilogy, and it is designed for the world of the “big folk”. You can see a series of photos from my Source that reveal that the house is bigger than it looks. There is no way that Gandalf will be hitting his head on the crossbeams here. There is one door that is so small that it is downright impractical. Still, this entire place looks very cozy, even though the dwellers have to mow the roof every once in while. Perhaps Peter Jackson should have filmed The Hobbit movie here, assuming that hasn’t already. The whole house cost a price of $410,000, which I’m sure would have been a fraction of a Middle Earth movie budget. Conference Calendar – The global conference and expo finder. Let us check out just what the HELO TC is able to bring to the table. For starters, this will be a twin-rotored, indoor helicopter that has been constructed using a lightweight metal frame complete with a black polycarbonate body. Equipped with a Flight Deck infrared module, you will plug that particular bit into an iOS device in order for it to transmit control signals to the helicopter. You will be able to choose from two different flight modes – Touch Control, where we suspect most people would have a field day with it since it will rely on the multitouch display in order to control the HELO TC's throttle and joystick, while there is the Tilt to Steer mode that relies on the iOS device's accelerometers to get the navigating job done. For instance, if you tilt the iOS device, it will move the helicopter forward, back and side to side. Heck, the app is even able to record and store up to three Flight Plans so that you (or other “pilots”) can repeat a particular flight pattern in a jiffy. The HELO TC comes with a built-in battery which can be juiced up from just about any USB power source, and that includes your computer's USB port. As for the Flight Deck module, that will require a quartet of AAA batteries, where it will remain plugged within the iOS device's headphone jack.
